The Tests at Exxaro Grovos

The hiring process involves two parts, interviews and tests. The tests consist of some general tests as well as more specific ones, which will depend on the job you've applied for. The tests that you may come across are:

  • A psychometric test usually refers to a collection of questions (20-50) that span a wide array of topics (numerical, verbal, logical, deductive) and allow very short response times.   • In-tray exercise items that are designed to measure job skills such as the ability to organize and prioritize work; analytical skills; communication with team members and customers; written communication skills; and delegation.
  • A general pre-employment aptitude test that measures your problem-solving abilities, skill learning capabilities, and critical thinking. It usually consists of 50 questions, has a 15-minute time limit, and is comprised of three question categories—math and logic, verbal ability, and spatial reasoning.
