TUI SHL-Style Online Tests

For the SHL verbal test, you will read short texts and answer questions involving each passage. Each question will necessitate you to quickly appraise whether a statement is true, false, or indeterminable based on the text.
For the numerical test, you encounter numerical data in the table and graph form, followed by questions relating to them. Answering them often requires you to show mathematics aptitude and to perform calculations involving fractions, percentages, ratios and conversions.

In the situational judgement test will ask you for a resolution to a given conflict which, although being supposed, might very much rely on, or represent, realistic situations that occur in a workplace. You are asked to choose an ideal method of action out of a number of possible options. You are encouraged to choose your responses spontaneously, based on intuition; however, analysing the scenarios and choosing responses that highlight your skills will allow you to better present yourself on the test.

An abstract, or figural, reasoning test, is used to assess the ability to understand and analyse visual information through pattern recognition, as well as the ability to generate hypotheses, change tracks and critically evaluate. By utilising shapes and images to depict specific logic patterns and/or processes, these tests can measure general intelligence, abstract thinking skills and how well you solve problems.

TUI Interview

As part of the TUI application process, you should participate at least in one interview. The interview usually lasts about 45 minutes. Interviews can be the most nerve-wracking part of the process, but preparation is key to helping you stay calm and focused. With the help of our Interview PrepPack™, you can ensure a stellar performance during your interview.

Is Being Consistent Important on TUI Personality Tests?

Being consistent is very important when taking a personality test. On these tests, you may be asked similar questions that are worded differently. If you answer these similar questions differently, it will be reflected in your results. For instance, it could appear to assessors as if you did not answer both questions completely honestly, which may result in you not getting the job. However, consistency isn't something you need to focus on, as it is not measured. It is a problem only if you significantly contradict yourself; for example, answering "agree" to "I'm never late" and "I have a tendency to be late to some meeting." At times during the test, you may encounter similar statements but not agree or disagree with all of them; in this case, it is fine to answer differently. For example, answering "agree" to both "I prefer working with people rather than working along" and "Sometimes, I need some alone time."

How Long Does TUI Assessment Day Last?

Assessment centres usually consist of a four to eight-hour schedule over one or two days, although, in some rare cases, they may last for three days. The exact schedule for each employer varies for the simple reason that every company does things its own way.
