Therefore, if you've applied for a customer service position, you should emphasize your selling and interpersonal relations competencies by choosing the statement “I pick my words very carefully” as your “Most.” Although a statement like “Selling comes easy to me” seems like a good fit, it might seem over-confident and should be ignored and not marked at all.
So why not choose this statement for your “Least”? The answer depends on the other options. Customer service representatives are expected to be agreeable team members who score low on their dominance scale. Therefore, “I tend to analyze people”, which relates to dominance, would, in this PARTICULAR case, be selected as “Least”.

The two main traits behind this question are friendliness and sociability. These traits are essential for candidates applying for business development, diplomatic, or foreign relations positions.
However, they are less important in jobs that are more individualistic in nature, such as programming and designing. To answer this question, consider the type of job you are applying for. If you aim for a diplomatic position, it is best to choose 6 or 7. For jobs that don’t demand high interpersonal relations skills, you might choose 2-5.
It's important to note that some degree of interpersonal skills is essential in most positions and therefore, the recommended choice on that scale greatly depends on the prospective employer's exact positions and values. Doing some research before your test can never hurt.

It is best to answer average and above in these general positive competencies. Remember, however, that you will need to prove you actually possess this demeanour once you get the job, so stay authentic and don't overshoot.

For example, if the role requires handling meetings and giving presentations, “Fluent speaker” should be ranked high, while in a role that requires meeting with clients and negotiating, “Easy on others” should be highest.
